Wincle Beer Festival took place at the end of June and was a tremendous success.

Wincle, a picturesque village in the Peak District boasts a thriving micro brewery. The brewery stages a beer festival every year where beer from all over the UK can be tried. The festival is so popular now that people camp on the adjacent fields all weekend. This year there were over 90 tents and 20 caravans so you can imagine the crowds. There are of course cottages to rent for the weekend in the village including our “Otter’s Retreat.

At the festival there was music from three of four different bands and there was a range of different kinds of food. The Ship Inn, just up the road served breakfast on Saturday morning.
