Our first snow of the winter came very late this year in the South West Peak District and it has been no more than a covering so far. The weather has changed however and the cold and dry days that we have had are certainly better than the mild and wet. Better for walking with less mud to contend with on the many walks and footpaths around Wincle. Our first chance to see Otter’s retreat holiday cottage in the snow.

The sheep are certainly keen to come in for their morning feed (hanging stone in the background).
